Energy Transition Cycle - Biogas
Conference: Production and Financing Principles of Biogas Projects
We
are pleased to continue our Energy Transition Cycle with a
round table* dedicated to biogas which will be held on October 24 at 7:30 p.m at Wellio Paris Saint-Lazare (10 rue de Madrid 75008 Paris).
Biogas production is rapidly increasing across Europe, and it is widely regarded as among the sustainable alternatives to fossil fuels. Biogas is created from methane via anaerobic digestion – the process of organic matter breaking down in either landfills or digesters that are specifically made to convert animal and food waste into gas. With more and more plants set up to produce this fuel and because of its inherent attributes favoring decarbonization, these plants are now considered as a key technology to accelerate energy transition.
This unique event will bring together technical, financial and legal experts to discuss the latest developments and opportunities in biogas. Mott MacDonald will share its technical expertise on technical issues and innovations in the sector, while Mazars will discuss effective financing strategies for biogas projects. Gide will shed light on the legal aspects essential to securing investments and ensuring the success of projects.
Our panel will include reputable professionals within the sectors namely, Daniel Jacobs (Technical Director - Waste and Resource Management at Mott MacDonald), Marie Bouvet (Partner at GIDE Loyrette Nouel) and Philippe Bozier (Partner Infrastructure & Energy at Forvis Mazars). The round table will be moderated by Hannah Cocos and Benjamin Quillet. A cocktail will follow at the end of the round table.
Join us for an evening rich in debate and learning, where you can ask your questions, share your experiences and expand your professional network. Don't miss this opportunity to learn and collaborate with industry leaders to move your biogas projects forward.
Slots are limited, please register quickly.
We look forward to your participation
