Comments on the proposals to revise the National Low Carbon Strategy for the transport sector

In recent weeks, the General Secretariat for Ecological Planning ("SGPE") has published a number of documents, both general and sector-specific, proposing revisions to the National Low-Carbon Strategy ("SNBC"), which are now out for consultation..

In connection with the work of the "Innovation in infrastructure" working group launched by Infravenir several months ago, which focused on innovative projects serving 100% decarbonized mobility by 2050, Gabrielle Reddé offers an analysis and makes recommendations on the SGPE's work on transport. It should be remembered that this sector is the biggest contributor to global warming in France, accounting for 32% of greenhouse gas emissions. It will have to reduce its emissions by 97% over the next 27 years.

Enjoy your reading and thank you to the contributors and reviewers of this work.
