Auto-production of electricity in Morocco: what challenges to unlock decentralized solar?

Following the success of our first round table last June on desalination, the Infravenir Morocco office is pleased to continue its series of conferences at the heart of the Kingdom's energy transition with a topic that is still relevant.

Morocco enjoys one of the highest levels of sunshine in the world. However, according to a recent World Bank study, only a marginal part of its installed solar capacity is decentralized. With law no. 82-21, more and more Moroccan industrialists and private actors are considering producing their own electricity, but they face concrete issues regarding regulatory framework, structuring, and financing.

To discuss this, we are pleased to welcome:

-Mehdi Benjelloun, General Director, African Energy Efficiency Fund (FAEE)

-Mohammed HAMMOUCH, Project Finance Partner, Forvis Mazars

-Wacef BENTAIBI, Partner Lawyer, Gide Loyrette Nouel

📆 Thursday, October 29, 2026 from 7:30 PM to 10 PM

We hope to see many of you!
