True to our commitment to make the association accessible from all territories, we invite you to Lorraine. On Wednesday, October 28, 2026, we offer you a day on the site of Nova 14, the first project of regional railway concession integrated in France.

Partially closed to passengers since 2016, the Nancy-Contrexéville line will reopen for the Annual Service 2028: 75 km of renewed track, 12 stations, and more than 500,000 passengers expected each year. An unprecedented model, which entrusts a single concessionaire, Nova 14, with the financing, design, management of the infrastructure, and operation of the service.

Nova 14 brings together NGE Concessions (50%), Transdev (20%), and the Territory Bank (Caisse des dépôts Group) (30%) and has established a bank financing of nearly 200 million euros, with a maturity of 22 years, involving the European Investment Bank at the forefront for 50% of the financing, the rest being equally secured by CIC (Credit Agent), La Banque Postale, Caisse d’Epargne Grand Est Europe, and NORD/LB.

We will start with a presentation of the project with the teams from Nova 14 and NGE Concessions (assembly, financing, interaction between infrastructure and operation), followed by a visit to the Maintenance and Storage Site (SMR) in Mirecourt. We will then head to Ceintrey / Vézelise to discover a track laying workshop in full activity.


Complete program for the day of October 2, 2026:

  • 07 : 06 Train departing from Paris (Gare de l'Est)
  • 08 : 44 Arrival at Nancy station and transfer to Mirecourt
  • 09 : 30 Coffee welcome at the Mirecourt living base
  • 10 : 00 Project presentation and questions/answers
  • 11 : 00 Safety briefing and distribution of PPE
  • 11 : 15 Visit to the Maintenance and Storage Site in Mirecourt
  • 12 : 30 Lunch - Le Plan B, Mirecourt
  • 14 : 00 Departure to Ceintrey / Vézelise
  • 14 : 30 Visit to the track laying workshop
  • 16 : 30 End of the visit and return to Nancy
  • 18 : 11 Train back to Paris


Practical information:

As part of the support for ecological transition, the association will subsidize the train ticket price up to €100 per participant upon presentation of receipts.

The meals of the day as well as the transportation between visits are covered by the association.
