Electric Mobility in Europe and the Role of EU-China Partnerships
Conference - Electric Mobility in Europe and the Role of EU-China Partnerships
We are pleased to pursue our International Series program with a round table dedicated to the perspectives for the development of the electric vehicle fleet in Europe and the role of Chinese companies in the development of the sector. It will be held on Thursday 17 April at 7.30pm at the Novotel Paris les Halles (8 Place Marguerite de Navarre, 75001 Paris).
The transition to electric vehicles is gathering pace across Europe, driven by the urgent need to reduce CO2 emissions from the transport sector. However, challenges remain in stimulating the uptake of electric vehicles by consumers and businesses, requiring alignment between battery and car manufacturers, as well as charging infrastructure operators.
As the world's largest market for electric vehicles, China has led the development of electric mobility. Chinese companies have decades of experience in battery cell production, supply chain management and cost-effective electric vehicle manufacturing, expertise that is now shaping global markets, including Europe.
We will have the opportunity to discuss with Rodolphe Bichot (M&A Manager at Electra), Bertrand Texier (Acquisiton Engineer at Farasis Energy), Yasmine Assef (Senior Principal at AFRY) and Jérémie NI (Independent Expert of the automotive industry) to discuss on the outlook for the sector and the synergies between key players to suceed in the transition to electric vehicles.
This round table is organised in partnership with Paris Energy Connections and will be moderated by Neus Morcilo and Yinhao Zeng.
A cocktail reception will follow the discussions.
Do not wait to register, tickets are limited.
We hope to see you there!
