Conference - BESS: how to structure battery storage projects to convince investors and reassure lenders?

We are pleased to continue our series dedicated to the energy transition with a roundtable focused on the structuring of battery storage projects (BESS) that will take place on Monday, November 16, 2026 at 08:15 AM at the headquarters of the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations located at 56 rue de Lille, 75007 Paris.

Battery storage plays an increasingly important role in balancing electrical systems and integrating renewable energies. However, the specificity of revenue models and the risks inherent to these assets call for an appropriate structuring.

Attracting capital and securing debt financing requires anticipating the expectations of investors and lenders from the very beginning of a project’s development. Risk allocation, partner selection, contractual commitments, and revenue protection: how can these factors be leveraged to build an attractive and bankable project?

By bringing together the perspectives of developers, investors, and lenders, this meeting will explore the structuring choices that promote investment and access to debt. Concrete feedback will shed light on the points of vigilance and trade-offs at each stage of the project, from development to operation.

We will thus have the privilege of exchanging with:

  • Elise Stoffaës, Deputy Director of Infrastructure Investments at Banque des Territoires (Groupe Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations)
  • Thomas Morvan, Senior Transaction Manager at TagEnergy
  • Pablo Cervo, Associate Director in Energy Structured Finance at NORD/LB

The roundtable will be moderated by Nicolas Saroux and Amaury Dubois.

A breakfast is also planned at the beginning and end of the roundtable.

Seats are limited, so register quickly! We hope to see many of you.
